NMC launches pre-registration nursing edcuation questionnaires for patients and the public

To make sure that people who are at the receiving end of nursing care can take part in our consultation on pre-registration nursing education, we have developed shorter questionnaires which focus on issues that are particularly relevant to older people, people with dementia, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health problems, as well as their families and carers. These have been developed in partnership with Age Concern & Help the Aged, Alzheimer's Society, Mencap and Rethink[N1] .

The questionnaires for older people, people with dementia and people with mental health problems can be accessed as online questionnaires, or as hard copies. The survey for people with learning disabilities and their families and carers is available in easy read format.The closing date for these surveys is 23 April 2010.
