Training courses at NCODP
NCODP is delighted to offer a range of quality courses delivered by professional, experienced trainers, as outlined below. Our courses will be held at our offices just outside Norwich in a stunning rural setting which offers free parking and quality refreshments. Understanding the Mental Capacity Act & DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty)
20 June 12—Half Day
This half day course is aimed anyone who needs to understand how the Mental Capacity Act & DoLS will affect their work.
Identifying Outcomes & Measuring Social Impact
26 June 12—Whole Day
This course will enable delegates to have a clear and overall understanding of outcomes and social
impact measurement.
Equality & Diversity
28 June 12—Whole Day
The aim of this course is to give participants an introduction to the ideas of equal opportunities and diversity practice.
Personal Safety for Lone Workers
04 July 12—Whole Day
This course is aimed at people who work alone to ensure that they are working as safely as possible.
Tribunal Skills
10 July 12—Whole Day
The course is aimed at welfare rights advisers who wish to improve their knowledge of the appeals process and the role of a representative.
Benefit Changes from 2012—2014
17 July 12—Whole Day
Aimed at generalist and other advisers who want to gain an overview of the benefit changes that are currently taking place.
Advocacy Awareness
02 August 12—Whole Day
The course aims are to raise awareness of the role of an advocate, the different models of advocacy and to gain an insight into advocacy issues, challenges and purposes.
Fees - Whole day (10am-4pm) £115 + vat per person Half day (9.30am—12.30pm) £65 + vat per person
